The investment programme includes the installation of a MULTI function line for spot welding, standard parts projection welding, stud welding and CO2 welding.

The presence of anthropomorphic robots and positioners allows processes to be managed safely and within the programmed cycle times.

The perimeter of the various stations will be segregated by modular fencing in mesh panels for the spot and projection part, while the panels will be closed for the CO2 welding station in order to protect operators from glare.
There will be:
• a panel for controlling the cooling fluids
• an electrical cabinet for the welding robot
• a cabinet for the line plc (one for the spot and projection part, one for the CO2 part)
• control desk with panel PC for operator interface and data exchange with company software.

The production plant interconnected to the company’s IT infrastructure will constantly communicate (and receive input) with respect to the operational performance status by responding and adapting production dynamics. Data from business activities and the company’s operational status will be common to the various levels of internal staff so that all decisions, both strategic and tactical, can be made with respect to the variables in the field.

Vertical integration will then make it possible to detect and track the product manufactured with all relevant data (conformity to specifications, presence of defects whose causes must be identified, order processing times, etc.). The adoption of the investment plan is aimed at ensuring greater production efficiency, improving market performance, and reducing energy consumption. With the implementation of the investment programme described, Benacchio srl, on the basis of the business plan drawn up in support of the project, assumes an increase in productivity of at least 25%, which will drag all other performance indices in a positive direction.
